Here's the latest from my fellow GREs:

And Remember...

...they hate us because we're free... [Watch]

Here's more.

Fortunately, most of us would rather watch a basketball game or a Lady Gaga concert than guard with jealous attention the public liberty...

Still, the thought strikes that a rag, a Coke bottle and a dollar's worth of gas could pretty much render useless one of these multi-million dollar investments. So maybe before we let people near them, we ought to make them go through another line first, where we can give them the rape scan/junk grope...oh, I'm sorry, I mean the "Freedom Fondle" option...

We're the Only Ones File-Sharing Enough

A man who was arrested by police has accused an officer of confiscating his cell phone and forwarding sexually explicit personal photos to himself and at least one other person. [More]
What, you mean we don't exist for the "Only Ones'" exploitation and enjoyment...?

A Lost Cause?

No, I'm not talking about GRendell's rantings. [Read]

I'm talking about allowing RINO political whores like Kate Harper to remain in power.

Better to let an anti-gun democrat have the seat as an object lesson that the GOP had better get someone acceptable to run if they want back in.

But that's stupid politics! If we do that we could lose all our gun rights!

Only if you believe the ultimate test will be political. Only if you surrender them.  Only if you think it's a lost cause.

If you allow betrayals without non-negotiable consequences, what incentive is there to stay faithful?

And what's the deal with Dominc Pileggi?  He comes out speaking for NRA, which has given him an "A" rating, but this says he "broke with Republicans - and some Democrats - to support closing the so-called Florida loophole..."

No Surprise

Proponents hailed Heller and McDonald as setbacks for gun control advocates. They predicted a shift in gun policy throughout the country.

But so far it hasn’t happened that way. While there have been challenges throughout the country to local, state and federal gun laws, few have been successful. [More]
Ayup:
However, if they accept either Seegars or Parker, I believe the court will not dare say there is no individual rkba. But if they find there is one, it will be so heavily burdened with "reasonable restrictions" as to ensure the status quo. They'll never admit the truth unless someone, that would be us, has enough power to compel them.
Men don't voluntarily give up power over others. There has to be an "or else" attached to if they don't, followed by a cost/benefit tradeoff analysis.

That's the way it's always been.

GOA Says ‘Ask Your Senators to Filibuster Traver Nomination’

Click here to read the alert from Gun Owners of America, and what you can do about it.

Hopefully, the senators will have a say in the matter.

As I noted in that column, it’s good to see the National Rifle Association “urge” Obama to withdraw the nomination. Still unknown: Will we also see a pledge to score a confirmation vote against any senator who approves it?

Come on, guys, act like you mean it.

I mean, what the hell...?

About Those Pistol Grip Shotguns...

We discussed them here.

Len Savage asks for clarification here.

Stay tuned.

Question...

What if she'd really had a gun? [Read]

After all, this is Wisconsin...

And yeah, I know open carry is "legal."  Tell these guys.

Former congressman urges ATF oversight hearings

While this hardly touches on many of the issues we’ve discussed in this column, from arbitrary classifications to baffling rulings to motivated persecutions to perjury to unreliable records used to prosecute citizens, and much more, it’s at least a start.

To those of us who feel like we’ve been lonely voices in the wildernessfor a long time—it’s nice to be joined by another, especially one so prominent. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column notes a move in the right direction.  Whether enough momentum will build up or not is up to us, meaning your personal involvement is required.

This Day in History: November 30

Washington used the Middlebrook grounds again in the Winter of 1778–9. He brought about 8-10,000 troops to the camp site by November 30, 1778. Soldiers constructed cabins from logs covered with clay similar as they had done at Morristown. [More]
