We're the Only Ones Demilitarized Enough

Maybe U.S. police aren’t militarized enough. [More]
If it's truly about greater accountability for lethal force, that's  move in the right direction.

Anybody see any evidence that's the direction their masters want to take us?

Militarized police? Yes, they look tougher than ever, downright Hollywood, but they weren't allowed to use as little as a child's slingshot against the looters in Ferguson, were they? Obama has made his sensibilities quite plain over the years. We have a no balls president who is timid in his use of force, since the idea of upholding law and order makes him cringe, hoodlum at heart that he is.

I partially agree with Chaz, but I think it isn't a lack of scrotal fortitude it's cultural bias...our just good ole fashion racism... Ferguson on one hand then Lavoy Finnicum on the other. Maybe that's over simplified but I don't remember seeing drone footage of all the black spazes and white apologists... But put a couple whitey righty nutbag bitter clingers in the middle of nowhere and they run some Afghan black bag bullshit. Maybe I'm a conspiracy nut but the Soros funded Islam loving b-lives-mat crowd seem to be on the sympathetic end of king Bam's purported anti American Islamic proclivities... So the rest of us might have something to worry about when the jackboots get fired up next time.

OK. So then let's saddle them with the same restrictive rules of engagement that our soldiers must adhere to. You know - not returning fire until a faraway base commander authorizes it. Same with backups, etc.
