Founding Faces

This is really quite remarkable. [More]

My father remembered Civil War vets from his childhood who were honored at his school. Their lives would have intersected with these.

In other words, I knew a guy who met some guys who lived at the same time as these guys. How brief the experiment has been when placed in that context.

What do you suppose these men would have thought of the ignorant, chaotic and slovenly degenerates trying to destroy everything they endured untold sacrifices and hardships to build?

America went from being a place where everyone worked, to being a place where everyone sits in a chair all day, all too often just watching TV. Obesity and diabetes used to be diseases of the rich; now they are diseases of the over-fed poor. The self-styled progressives got their "progress", but they do seem to have an awful lot of anxiety about the results.
