Fundamental Court Transformation Removes Choices for Gun Owners except Obey or Not

In short, not just Garland, but any candidate for a federal judgeship, ought to be expected to disclose answers to fundamental questions... [More]
Control the courts and it's "game over" for any (peaceable) resolution outside of turning 'em all in, Mr. and Mrs. America.

And You Can Thank an Establishment Republican

When Obama entered the Oval Office, liberal judges controlled just one of the 13 circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals. Fifty-five successful presidential nominations later, liberal majorities now control nine of those appeals benches, or 70 percent. [More]
And you can thank them again when Hillary completes the job.

It seems he'd be in a position to know he was in an area that had seen 42 reports of violent crime and 26 robberies in the past 30 days. That doesn't seem like the kind of place for Condition White, especially at night.

That said, we'll never know if resistance truly would have been futile. It sounds like he surrendered that choice beforehand.

Mixed Feelings

You Open Carry Idiots Aren’t Helping [More]
I personally don't open carry to make a statement. That said, I've endorsed and appeared at multiple events where open carry has been the norm, and rather than seeing problems have instead seen peaceable conduct that is indeed helpful at negating all the hysterical stereotyping.

Then there's the kind that confirms it.

I'm not a "one size fits all" kind'a guy.  The focus ought to be reserved for those who set a dangerous example or otherwise misbehave. In this particular case, it appears a motive was to intimidate someone who had been through the judicial process and was not threatening to use force.

It does make fair the question of what can and should be done, and how to ensure due process. It also makes it fair to ask how such an event would happen that was not traceable back to "government" admissions policies.

Hey, who thinks guns will be allowed?

I'm surprised the "suicide vest" crowd hasn't tried weaponizing "refugees" with biological agents. Maybe they have. Maybe that's next.

It Depends on What the Meaning of the Term 'Conservative Republican' Is

Mr. Toomey, a conservative Republican in a tough re-election fight in Pennsylvania, has been rewarded with support from unlikely sources: former Representative Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, a Democrat who was shot in the head in a 2011 assassination attempt and started a political action committee focused on gun control, and Michael R. Bloomberg, a former mayor of New York, who is behind another gun control PAC. [More]
Well gosh, if a trusted source for unbiased reporting like "the newspaper of record" calls a gun-grabber "conservative," who am I to argue?

Bloomberg Has His Gun-Grabby Hands in Everything

Per Nevada Firearms Coalition's email alert, "This proposal is being supported by former Metro Sheriff and current wildlife commissioner Bill Young who is also a member of the Everytown in Nevada advisory board and vocal supporter of the anti gun owner ballot initiative one."

Funny-- since her ruling was never overturned by a higher court (a Congressional rider on a credit card bill allowed it instead), stare decisis ought to still apply over executive actions in her district.  Anybody know if environmental impact studies have been done on the administration bypassing all those lawfully-enacted immigration laws?
