When Old Paradigms Die

Gun-rights groups will quietly protest, but have little sway. [More]
That's because they refuse to embrace "I will not comply" when their strategies no longer work, or to acknowledge what California irrefutably demonstrates: the single biggest threat to a "single issue" they pretend exists in a political vacuum.

When supposed leaders no longer lead, but in fact act as enablers, it's time to either adapt or perish. The noncompliance we've seen to date has not been led by those who "pragmatically" place their image, their access and their funding above all else, and who therefore have no incentive to do anything but ignore or disparage "principle freaks."

Let one of those defiers be caught and watch how many will not come to his aid, and will instead focus on how he did it to himself, and even how "he makes us all look bad."

Anybody think the rice bowl groups would have lifted a finger had Vanderboegh been busted for "smuggling"?

Same old-same old where it doesn't work because it can't is the definition of insanity.
