Exclusive: Wolves for Common Sense Horn Safety Laws

Whether we’re talking about first-person attackers, like Ivanov, or political ones relying on enforcers to do their violence for them, like Yee, one factor is shared in common: Neither wants honest folk armed because ultimately, the Second Amendment can enable the people to repel both kinds of predator. This whole Ares Armor nightmare should be all anyone needs to demonstrate how people with the power to destroy businesses and lives make compliance with their demands impossible. It also shows that trying to come up with "reasonable" infringements that are both Constitutional and consistent is like a lie that only grows and compounds and gets worse as new lies are thrown out to cover the old ones.

If they can't stop it or take it back, at the very least they ought to find and fire the DHS embedded domestic enem(ies) who advanced such theft for the traitor Johnson's approval.

How Do You Get from Here to There?

I understand getting popped for intoxicated driving, getting belligerent, being taken down to the station, booked... [More]

And I understand your fellow connected elites needing to maintain a professional distance.

The dots I don't see connected are how do you go from that to getting your house searched? A connected lawyer doesn't know to keep his mouth shut around the police?

I see the guy's a real ... uh ... dick.

House votes to undo Obama-era gun control rule [More]
Still a ways to go. And I'm starting to question how much of the noise is for show.

We're the Only Ones Unidentifiable Enough

A bill to prohibit Virginia law enforcement agencies from quickly identifying officers involving in shootings passed a House of Delegates committee Thursday on an 11-8 vote. The bill, which could make it a crime to identity an officer before six months have passed since a shooting or an investigation is completed, cleared the House General Laws Committee and now heads to the floor for a full vote. Two Republicans and six Democrats opposed the bill in the GOP-controlled committee. [More]
Republicans: Do you really not get this? This is why freedom-minded people fear giving you power.

Forget principle. You don't see the political advantage of letting Democrats be the party of the police state?

Paradise Lost

Hawaii Did Not Issue Any Gun-Carry Permits to Private Citizens in 2016 [More]
No surprises there. Anybody think their relatively low violent crime rate is due to "gun control" as opposed to ... oh, I don't know...?

Do you know when you get off a plane from the mainland there they require you to fill out a (punishable) affidavit attesting you are not bringing in any "illegal" (undocumented?) "plants and animals"?  This from a place with signs warning drivers of deer, and all kinds of imported animal and plant life?

I know "Sanctuary State" California asks if you have any produce when you drive across their border from Arizona. What I don't know is if they'll still laugh if you reply "No, but I can make you a sandwich."

The Hawaiians realize their statist infringement on the right of free travel is so offensive they actually warn you that.. well here, let me show you:

Yep, merely defacing their punk form can carry a fine of up to $25,000 and a year in the slammer.  I wonder what would happen if I mailed them one with a swastika, or a two-word message beginning with "F"?

Look, we all get that ecosystems can be damaged. There are ways to persuade against that without making your first outreach an unfunded mandate demand for uncompensated administrative work that violates the rights of those who wish to exercise their right of free association -- backed by a threat. I guess if we've already let TSA cop a feel, the assumption is we're easy.

And as long as we're tangentially on the subject of endangered species, note native Republicans have been driven to extinction. The predilection for statist coercion being the first resort makes that pretty evident.

Funny thing about those tolerant "progressives" -- there's another foreign transplant they've managed to keep out. Anybody see any Syrian or Nigerian communities in the land of inclusive Democrat control?

Aloha 'Oe.

More Wishful Thinking

The fourth possibility is one that until recently I would have said was unthinkable in the United States of America: a military coup... [More]
Yep, State has been infested with domestic enemies like Rosa Brooks. Naturally, the Soros minions love her.

Isn't it revealing that Opposte Day "progressives," who tradionally have loathed the military and who tell us they stand for "social justice," so yearn for martial law?

It always seems to work out that way with totalitarians.

Can There Be No Peace Between Our Peoples?

Ummm... no:
Whiteness is violence. Both upon those who wield whiteness to get what they want and those who are smashed under the colonial weight of whiteness.
At least not with the likes of these:
Because of that, it feels betrayed and asks, “why do you hate me?” or “why do you hate white people?” but what it means is why are you disrupting the construction of my identity?
"It."

Human beings feel and ask and mean. "Whiteness" does not. How telling, and what an indicator of what we could expect if rage-filled moral defectives such as these prevail.

I will stand with my ideological brothers and sisters to do what it takes to oppose such evil, racist lunatics.

And history and honor demand that I stand armed.

Unlike Most

In my Gorsuch piece yesterday, I linked to a National Review piece, which said in a call-out for emphasis:
Most in the gun community would agree that violent felons and the mentally deranged should be denied the right to arms and that doing so does not infringe the Second Amendment.
Not me, not unless they're segregated from the rest of us after receiving full due process. It makes no sense and is criminally irresponsible to allow proven threats to move freely among those who live responsibly.  You wouldn't open the cage and let a man-eating tiger loose simply because an arbitrary sentence behind bars had been served.

Anyone who can't be trusted with a gun can't be trusted without a custodian.

Don't argue with me about that truth, argue with the tiger.

Gee, ya think?

But by all means, keep it up.  Seeing how they and their ANTIFA useful idiots behave is like a gift. And why are they taking so long to elevate Keith Ellison ... unless they're racists?
