Some Basic Questions

UPS has confirmed that the shooter was an employee and SFPD confirms he was wearing a UPS uniform. [More]
How many "common sense gun laws" did he violate?

What, besides a total ban accompanied by routine unannounced warrantless searches, conducted by completely incorruptible authorities, would make a bit of difference among the subset likely to not give a damn about the "law"?

Deactivated Facebook Pages Gave Clues to Scalise Shooter’s Influences

I did some screen captures anticipating closure so that a record would remain on Hodgkinson’s influences. Note that doesn’t mean definitive conclusions can be drawn or specific blame can or should be placed, but they all add up as parts of the record that can help explain his worldview, and at least some of his shared “values.” [More]
This is what Team Zuckerberg decided they didn't want the world to see.

UPDATE: After several hours of disabling, the Facebook pages are now back online and active — for now.  Perhaps all the publicity they have received, from sources as popular as Rush Limbaugh and as comprehensive as Conservative Treehouse contributed to the decision to restore the pages.

And here all those years, until she showed her true colors, she was a darling of "conservatives."

I'm glad her ratings at her new home are swirling down the toilet. Maybe if this keeps up she'll have money coming out of her whatever.

I remember a similar case here a few years back with an Amish guy. It appears he dropped his lawsuit. I'll see if I can find out more.

A Sure Sign of Madness

House Bill 222 would allow an individual’s family members or law enforcement to petition the court for an ex parte restraining order if they consider the individual to be a danger to themselves or others simply because the individual owns, possesses or purchases a firearm.  [More]
Kind'a like what that "Republican"/Commie joint venture is doing in Oregon.

Make THIS What People Remember from Scalise Shooting

“The only reason why any of us walked out of this thing, by the grace of God, one of the folks here had a weapon to fire back and give us a moment to find cover. We were inside the backstop and if we didn’t have that cover by a brave person who stood up and took a shot themselves, we would not have gotten out of there and every one of us would have been hit — every single one of us,” said Bishop. “He was coming around the fence line and he was looking for all of us who had found cover in different spots. But if we didn’t have return fire right there, he would have come up to each one of us and shot us point-blank.” [More]
So have they figured out what "inspired" the mental defective yet?

UPDATE: Figures the Authorized Journalists would make a point of headlining the maniac as a "white gunman."  I guess they don't have a code word comparable to "teens," nor an inclination to mask such information when it doesn't serve their purpose.

Mark Ruffalo in hulk rage at NBC, pushes petition to end ‘white conservative hiring’ [More]
It's not easy being green.

I never understood this dullard lump's supposed thespian gravitas, and the only reason people watch the Hulk is because of the CGI. But you'll note he's been content to cash the checks for appearing with Iron Man (white), Thor (white), Captain America (white), Black Widow (white with racist name appropriation), Hawkeye (white), and oh yeah, token afterthought Falcon.  Hell, even Nick Fury used to be white until somebody with an agenda decided he wasn't, creating a dilemma for leadership of the Howling Commandos (as things weren't exactly "vibrant" in WWII).

Anyway, in addition to being an overprivileged whiner with a megaphone, he (along with that bottomless well of talent, Ashton Kucher) is also an anti-gun fanatic who, if his side is going to be consistent, ought to be prohibited from buying one.
