Gatekeepers Controlling Narrative Ensure Truth Suppressed from General Population

Fake news, lies and smears are what the public hears about Oath Keepers from the media. And limited means of correcting the record are increasingly and intentionally being blocked. [More]
So what can we do about it?

You Keep Using That Word.

Simon was arrested for willful discharge of a firearm felony as well as carrying a concealed firearm. [More]
Willful? Then how could it be "accidentally"?

The Obvious Solution

Mr. Butler that his transcribers had had difficulty rendering Mr. Schwarzenegger's remarks because of his accent and said the only way to resolve the discrepancy was to listen to the tapes, which are in Mr. Schwarznegger's possession. [More]
Instead of just disputing and denying, why wouldn't a committed anti-Nazi want to unequivocally clear that up by producing those tapes?

Can't We All Get Along?

She demands unconditonal surrender on all points, so what do you think?

No Comparison

We can’t compare antifa activists to neo-Nazis [More]
True.

Commies have killed a lot more.

And you can't compare either turf-warring gang to rights advocates.

The View from Under the Bus

“We are not a fan of armed protests and highly discourage that,” said Alan Gottlieb, the founder and executive vice president of the SAF. “Firearms serve a purpose, and the purpose is not a mouthpiece. It’s to defend yourself. If you are carrying it to make a political point, we are not going to support that.” [More]
It's not the first time I've seen such distancing for anything outside his paradigm fed to the media. I'm not sure what he thinks giving them this concession will accomplish, and if that will outweigh the perceptions of some who are now feeling... uh, "alienated" is putting it politely.

Looks like Javert is obsessed to hound to the grave. And it looks like it's personal:
“He’s a coward,” Myhre said. “There’s nothing more dangerous than a coward with a weapon.”
Considering who he works for, that's rich.

It cost the city $270,000 to put ShotSpotters on the city's crime-ridden east and west sides, but police Chief William McManus said the program's results don't match up with its hefty price tag. [More]
They're just figuring that out now?

So who's the idiot who pushed for it in the first place?

Good thing it wasn't his money.

Oh well, he got good headlines then and he's not being mentioned now. Plus he's still got a job.

The Signal Just Got Amplified

Recall petitions turned in for all three Custer County commissioners [More]
Good. About time.

Funny, how #justablogger in Ohio was on it way before the local "real reporters." Not that we haven't seen that before.

The Sangre de Cristo Sentinel's George Gramlich explains why this is relevant to all liberty advocates:
All it takes is effort, dedication and love of country and our Constitution. Think local patriots. Local is doable. Get off the internet and get your neighbors and friends in gear. Engage. Take the offensive.
This should serve as an example for patriots everywhere. Start your local efforts now. There is no shame in trying and losing, but there is shame in not trying.
As an aside, how unsurprising that the subjects of the recall are choosing avoidance rather than engagement.

Which Raises Another Question

All of which raises a question: Does Trump really want to make Charles E. Schumer the Senate majority leader? Why would a Republican president attack one of his party’s most vulnerable incumbents at time when the GOP holds such a narrow majority that it cannot pass legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare — or much of anything else for that matter? [More]
Looks like the false alternative talking point is getting around.

As to "why7," it's because the enemy inside the gates is the one that can do the most harm.

But then, a WaPo-acceptable "conservative" knows all about that.

Talk about false alternatives.

The pat-down, done over her clothes, explored her breasts, crotch and buttocks. “I did not imagine that she would ask me a few times to spread my legs wider and in fact touch my vagina four times with the side of her hand,” MacFarlane later wrote in a complaint to the TSA. [More]

I can't figure out if they're talking about bestiality or digging a hole in the ground and doing pushups.  Regardless, it sounds like a good way to get chiggers.

On the plus side, figuring out which bathroom to use is not an issue.

Making a Dent

“It’s entirely counterproductive for the president to be picking fights with Republican senators who he will need for important agenda items that they both agree on,” said Rep. Charlie Dent (R-Pa.). “Does he think that Democratic senators will be more cooperative than John McCain and Jeff Flake and Susan Collins? It doesn’t seem to make any sense.” [More]
Spoken like a true "moderate" swamp thing.  Plus it's a false alternative, a lie. Trump would prefer a Republican who's not a backstabbing establishment poltroon undermining what he was elected to do. They freaked out over Brat unseating Cantor and are now out there badmouthing Kelli Ward.

And back when it looked like Hillary would win, Dent thought it productive to go before the media and declare Trump "a never-ending shipwreck."

Might there be a reason Dent's OK with foot-dragging on the wall?

So naturally, he's called "a staunch defender of the Second Amendment" and is commensurately rewarded.

Because as we see time and again, this has nothing to do with that "single issue."

Not Rocket Science

Scott said big cities like Los Angeles, where he served as a deputy chief, have long responded to these types of protests by having officers keep opposing sides apart. The tactics, in the end, aren’t complicated. [More]
McAuliffe, Bloomberg Mayor Signer and their enforcers knew that.  So what other explanation could there be?
