Fair is Fair

Ok Kids, 21 It Is [More]
After all, anyone who can't be trusted with a gun can't be trusted without a custodian.

Back By Popular Demand?

Two-thirds of Americans now support stricter gun control measures – including nearly HALF of Republicans [More]
Assuming this result of loaded questions asked of people who don't understand their implications is true, what the Elephants had best get straight is if they abandon their base, they'll never have power again.

It will be instructive to see how many gun owners will hold on to theirs.

The Going Rate

From Len Savage:
In a 5th circuit case I was asked to explain the legal definition of a machinegun so that it would be easily understood....I was also tasked with explaining how rate of fire is NOT part of the definition.
If bump stock could have been banned by any interpretation of current law the previous administration would have banned them.

To Their Credit?

What if the finance industry — credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard and American Express; credit card processors like First Data; and banks like JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo — were to effectively set new rules for the sales of guns in America? [More]
I believe market opportunities will attract entrepreneurs.

Also, I'm not certain what kind of collusion is allowed under existing regulatory frameworks they all must abide by.  A coordinated closing off of the entire market would seem to invite that other "progressive" policy, antitrust laws.  And there's always the boycott factor, especially if all do not go along. Not to mention political pressure. For instance, JP Morgan has plenty of dealings with the feds, and why not have a political push for agencies to not use banking services that discriminate against gun owners?

We'll see.

Boy, the weasels sure want to destroy a basic right, do they not?

I cannot overemphasize that this is uncorroborated. Now that it's out there I'd be derelict not to present it, but caution against kneejerk buying into it as gospel.

Good kid.

But Mom, who would have been fine with a white child standing in front, is being praised for her parenting skills? At least the kid hasn't automatically adopted her melanin über alles attitude, even if she does dress him to reinforce that.

And no one lauding the "brave boy" thinks to ask why a 10-year-old needs to "volunteer" for anything, or why all the adult "teacher" can do is lock the door and paper over its window?

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Colton Haab said he was approached by CNN to ask a question at Wednesday night's town hall but decided not to after the network gave him a "scripted question," quashing one he wrote himself. Ensuring the safety of every student at Clarksburg is a top priority and a responsibility that I take very seriously. [More]
Obviously not.

And back to our story:
Parents piled into a PTSA meeting Thursday night at Clarksburg High School to ask school officials about the incident and how a student could bring a loaded gun onto campus. This is a closed campus, meaning all doors are locked. However, students are not individually searched. One parent said maybe that should change.
